Why this guideline?
About one in five people identifies as LGBTQIA+ or queer. Still, books do not reflect this diversity enough: queer characters are still underrepresented. That is why I want to support authors in enlarging this representation. Many writers have doubts or feel uncertain about how to develop queer characters. I am here to help you!
Representation is not only important, but also essential. Everyone deserves to feel represented in stories. Personally, I have experienced how powerful it feels to perceive recognition in a book and I want everyone to be able to feel this way.
